Booking Policy

1. Reservation Process:

1.1. All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation by Taktsang Homestay  (“the Homestay”).

1.2. Reservations can be made through the official website of Taktsang Homestay, third-party online travel agencies, or by directly contacting Homestay’s reservation department.

1.3. To secure a reservation, guests may be required to provide personal information, including their name, contact details, and payment information.

1.4. By making a reservation, guests confirm that they are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract.

2. Payment:

2.1. The Homestay accepts payment through online banking and cash.

2.2. Guests may be required to make a pre-payment to guarantee the reservation.

2.3. The Homestay reserves the right to charge the full amount or a deposit as per the reservation and cancellation policy.

3. Reservation Confirmation:

3.1. Upon receiving a reservation request, the Homestay will provide a confirmation email or booking voucher with the reservation details.

3.2. It is the responsibility of the guests to review the reservation details for accuracy and notify the Homestay of any discrepancies.

4. Cancellation and Modification:

4.1. Cancellation policies vary depending on the type of reservation, rate, and specific terms agreed upon during the booking process.

4.2. Guests are advised to review the cancellation policy at the time of booking.

4.3. To cancel or modify a reservation, guests must follow the instructions provided in the confirmation email or contact the Homestay’s reservation department directly.

4.4. The Hotel reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee or retain the deposit as per the cancellation policy.

5. No-Show:

5.1. If a guest fails to arrive on the scheduled check-in date without prior notification, it will be considered a “no-show.”

5.2. In the case of a no-show, the Homestay reserves the right to charge a no-show fee equivalent to the total reservation cost or retain the deposit, as per the reservation and cancellation policy.

6. Early Departure:

6.1. In the event of early departure, guests may be subject to an early departure fee as per the Homestay’s policy.

7. Extra Guests and Children:

7.1. The Homestay’s room rates are typically based on a specific occupancy limit.

7.2. Additional charges may apply for extra guests or children exceeding the specified occupancy limit, as per the Homestay’s policy.

8. Check-In and Check-Out:

8.1. Check-in time is typically after 11 am, and check-out time is before 11 am.

8.2. Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request, subject to availability.

9. Guest Responsibility:

9.1. Guests are responsible for providing accurate and complete information during the reservation process.

9.2. Guests must present a valid ID or passport upon check-in and comply with the Homestay’s rules and regulations during their stay.

9.3. Any damages caused to the Homestay’s property or facilities by guests will be their responsibility, and the Homestay may charge for the repairs or replacement.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction:

10.1. This Booking Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

10.2. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Booking Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the Homestay’s location.

11. Modifications:

11.1. The Hotel reserves the right to modify this Booking Policy at any time without prior notice.

11.2. Any changes to this Booking Policy will be effective immediately upon posting on the Hotel’s official website.
